‘War and Peace in 19th-century Europe’ By Professor Sir Richard J Evans (University of Cambridge)
Sir Richard J Evans is Regius Professor Emeritus of History at Cambridge and Provost of Gresham College, London. His most recent book is ‘The Pursuit of Power: Europe 1815-1914‘ (Penguin)
The lecture will be held at Europe House, 32 Smith Square, London SW1P 3EU, beginning at 6.30pm (doors open from 6pm)
