Teaching with Programming Historian

Date / time: 16 December, 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

Learn how you can use Programming Historian to teach digital humanities skills to your students.

This online workshop will introduce you to the Programming Historian (https://programminghistorian.org/), which publishes peer-reviewed tutorials that help humanists learn digital tools. Our tutorials are available in 4 languages (English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese).

Participants will have an opportunity to learn how lecturers Joana Vieira Paulino (Universidade NOVA de Lisboa), Nicolas Vaughan (Universidad de los Andes ) and Jessica Parr (Northeastern University) incorporate Programming Historian tutorials into their teaching practice and learn techniques on how to bring our tutorials into your classroom or workshop.
