The Arthur of History and the Volcanic Winter of 536-7

On Friday, 18 March Dr Andrew Breeze, from the University of Navarra, will be speaking at the University of Sheffield about his current research on the historical King Arthur and how his reign may have been impacted by climate changes in the 6th century which have been brought to light by recent archaeological discoveries. The talk is sponsored by REALMS (Researchers in Early and Late Medieval Studies), a postgraduate medieval group in association with MARCUS (Medieval and Ancient Research Centre University of Sheffield).
