Ask the Experts is an annual joint workshop between History Lab Plus and the Royal Historical Society for early career historians. This year the event will be held at The University of Manchester.
We have an excellent team of speakers joining us for the day to share their advice and experiences. Speakers include Peter Mandler (University of Cambridge), Mary Vincent (University of Sheffield), Julie-Marie Strange (University of Manchester) and Jo Fox (Durham University). They will speak on a wide range of topics including publishing, getting a job, ‘real’ information about the REF, Open Access and public engagement with history.
Participants will also have an opportunity to ask our speakers about their experiences in academic work, or on topics related to their field of expertise.
