The RSM History of Medicine Society’s purpose is to form a meeting ground for scholars, students and for all those who feel that the study of the history of medicine has a value in education.
The 2024-2025 Academic year started with two sold out events in October and December.

- 12 February 2025 – The anatomist’s cloak
- 12 March 2025 – Norah Schuster prize and Conversazione with skull base surgery Master Surgeon Madjid Samii
- 14 May 2025 – The Annual Bynum Lecture in The history of genetics; and antibody engineering
