What is the British Library? What’s in the collection? How can I find what I need? What development opportunities are available?
Join us online for an introduction to the British Library for prospective and current PhD researchers of all disciplines looking to engage with our collections. Researchers not currently undertaking a PhD and wishing to learn about the Library and how to use our collections are also welcome, although some of the information shared may not be relevant. This event may also be useful for Higher Education staff who support postgraduate research. This webinar provides:
– an introduction to the British Library, our sites and our extensive collections
– guidance on reader registration
– practical tips for using our catalogues, including a live catalogue demonstration
– an overview of development opportunities for PhD and postdoctoral researchers
– an opportunity to ask questions about how to get your research started.
