CoSMoS Launch Event: Lightning Research Session - RESEARCH NETWORKING EVENT

CoSMoS is a Community of Scholars (interested in things anent) Medieval and Early Modern Scotland. We are an informal online network, open to all! We provide opportunities for virtual meetings throughout the year on a variety of topics relating to medieval and early modern Scotland.

The CoSMoS online community are excited to announce our launch event, taking place on Monday 11 November, 18:00-19:30. We will be hosting a lightning research session on Zoom, where we will hear from several speakers as they introduce their current projects relating to medieval and early modern Scotland:

  • Dr Anna Groundwater (NMS)
  • Fergus Holmes-Stanley (University of Glasgow)
  • Dr Oisín Plumb and Dr Andrew Lind (UHI)
  • Dr Russell Ó Ríagáin (St Andrews)

The session is free to attend and will include short introductions to each project, followed by time for questions and discussion. To receive the Zoom link please register via the Eventbrite page: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/cosmos-launch-event-lightning-research-session-tickets-1048237485537.

Please feel free to circulate these details more widely, to anyone who may be interested in this event or in the network. We are especially keen to reach new students and early career researchers working on topics relating to medieval and early modern Scotland.
