The Anne Lister Research Summit is back this February with the first of its 2025 events!
Join us for a day of engaging sessions and lively discussions about Anne Lister and historical research, and learn more about Anne’s interest in literature and geology, hear about the lives and times of her siblings and, of course, hear more about Ann Walker.
This free and inclusive event aims to bring together people interested in researching or learning more about Anne Lister, her contemporaries, and their times. Everyone is welcome!
Interested? Here’s the Winter Program at a glance:
- Anne Lister’s Study of Geology with Stephanie Sobczak
- Reading for Pleasure: Sexuality, Morality, & Erotic Literature of Anne Lister with Deborah Kamen, Jann Kraus, and Sarah Wingrove
- Searching For Ann 2025 with Diane Halford, In Search of Ann Walker
- Forever Young: The Siblings Who Didn’t Grow Old with Lynn Shouls and Marlene Oliveira
