Professor Susan Pedersen’s lecture, ‘Burn This Letter: Love and Trouble in a Marriage of Four’ (2026), tracing four decades of letters between two aristocratic Balfour wives from the late Victorian to the interwar years, will be held not in Room 01 at LSE Library as previously advertised, but in the PhD academy on the 5th floor of the LibraryA staff member will be posted on the ground floor to let the attendees through. Our other two meetings this term will be in Room 01.
