Worlds in Miniature 4: Models, Miniatures and the Maritime World

12th and 13th June 2017 at the National Maritime Museum, Greenwich.A workshop hosted by the National Maritime Museum, and organised by Nick Ball, Jack Davy, Charlotte Dixon and Anna McKay, featuring a series of papers on miniaturisation and the maritime world. This is the fourth in a series of Worlds in Miniature workshops, supported by the Arts and Humanities Research Council.

The workshop will take place in the Lecture Theatre at the National Maritime Museum between 10.00 and 17.00 on 12th June 2017. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

It will be followed on 13th June 2017 with a subsidised tour of the model store at Chatham Historic Dockyard, at which there will be presentations by National Maritime Museum ship model conservators Helen Robertson and Karen Jensen.
