The Ridings of Yorkshire Society conference is back for 2023 at the Leeds City Museum. The conference brings together researchers and enthusiasts from multiple disciplines to discuss Yorkshire’s past and heritage. In addition to these, the conference includes a keynote address by the University of Sheffield’s Dr Hugh Willmott; a talk by Tolkien & the East Riding expert Michael Flowers; and a discussion panel ‘The Future of the Past – Use of Digital Media in Heritage’ with Anna Marshall of Hull Maritime, filmmaker Josh Daniels, and ‘Hull History Nerd’ Jamie Topliss-Yates.
