Researching Student Histories – Workshop 2: Student Media

Date / time: 30 March, 11:00 am - 3:00 pm

Researching Student Histories - Workshop 2: Student Media

This is the second event in the series of workshops designed to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the National Union of Students UK, as well as to more broadly explore the theoretical and methodological issues associated with undertaking research into student histories.

This event focuses on the student media, including student newspapers, radio and film. This session will explore some of the theoretical and methodological implications of the moves to digitise student newspapers, competing narratives within the student media and ethical implications of the use of the student media in historical research.

This is a hybrid event with both in-person (at the University of Portsmouth) and online tickets available. Please click on either of the following links to register.
