The fourth workshop in NUS 100 ‘Researching Student Histories’, marking the centenary of the National Union of Students, founded in 1922. This one day event explores methodological approaches to researching student and university history through objects and the space and place of the campus.
This workshop is sponsored by the research and engagement project ‘Generation UCL: Two Hundred Years of Student Life in London’. It features an object based learning session with artefacts from UCL Special Collections, UCL Art Museum, NUS and the ‘Higher Education Postcard Collection’ from Hugh Jones, and a walking tour of the campus.
