Join us for the official launch of Leading Labour, a new audio documentary series exploring the leadership, and legacies, of every former Labour Party Leader, from Clement Attlee to Jeremy Corbyn.
This project brings together insights from 80 distinguished guest speakers, including leading historians, political insiders, and key figures from within the Labour movement, including Neil Kinnock, Alan Johnson, David Blunkett, and David Owen.
Through rich storytelling and expert analysis, Leading Labour offers a chronicle of the personalities, challenges, and political shifts that have shaped the Labour Party and British politics for nearly a century.
With the release date marking 80 years since Clement Attlee’s landmark victory in the 1945 General Election, and 1 year since Keir Starmer’s government was elected, the launch event will provide a panel discussion on the evolving nature of Labour leadership, providing historical context to contemporary political debates, and insights from some of the brilliant guests from the series.
The event will also feature a presentation by Izzy Conn on the making of the podcast series.
