Professor Sir John Baker QC LLD FBA (Emeritus Downing Professor Emeritus of the Laws of England 1998-2011) and Professor John Wass MA MD FRCP (Professor of Endocrinology, University of Oxford) on ‘Law in a time of Plague: Was the Law a Good Doctor?’

Plague and Pandemic are not new nor are the efforts of government to deal with them by executive proclamations. Professors Baker and Wass will discuss and illustrate the Tudor and Stuart governments approaches, their legitimacy and effectiveness. Followed by Q&A.
