
Call for Papers – International History Seminar (SHI) 2026 – Deadline: 31 August 2025
The International History Seminar (SHI) is pleased to announce its Call for Papers for the 2026 sessions. This annual event brings together postgraduate students and researchers working on international, transnational, and global history to share and discuss their ongoing or recently published work.
Organised by a network of universities, the seminar fosters dialogue among scholars across regions, disciplines, and historiographical traditions. SHI offers a unique space for academic exchange beyond the Anglosphere, and encourages collaborative discussion on new ideas, sources, and methodologies.
What we’re looking for:
SHI welcomes proposals that explore: the Cold War (including Latin American perspectives); global economic and financial history; colonialism and its legacies; South–South relations; international intellectual history; transnational networks; welfare systems in a global context; and new sources and methods in international history. Other related topics are also welcome.

Please submit a 250-word proposal, a short CV, and three suggested commentators.
Deadline: 31 August 2025
