The annual HistoryLab conference will be held online on the 19th July. This year’s theme is ‘Histories in Crisis: Experiencing and Historicising Moments of Conflict’ and features 4 panels of papers from current PGRs: ‘Political Activism and Legal Rights,’ ‘Imperialism, Race and Resistance,’ ‘Moments of Trauma’ and ‘Rethinking Crises Through Lived Experience and Collective Memory.’ There will also be a keynote session with Dr Amanda Power (University of Oxford) on ‘Histories For Planetary Crisis and Possible Futures for the Discipline.’
