The PhD is complete. What now? History Lab Plus is running a free, one-day workshop which will allow late PhD and early career historians to explore the opportunities available to them as they take their next steps beyond the PhD.

This full day event will bring together a number of individuals to share their knowledge and experiences to help you prepare for ‘life after the PhD’. Topics of the day include:

·      Top Tips on Getting Published

·      Preparing Fellowship Applications

·      The Transition from PhD

·      Careers Outside of Academia

We have an excellent team of speakers joining us for the day to share their advice and experiences including Margot Finn (UCL and RHS), Peter Mandler (Cambridge and RHS), and Will Pooley (Bristol)

Registration will be open in June on Eventbrite. Get updates from our Twitter account @Historylabplus or from our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/historylabplus/
