The British Records Association has recently partnered with Liverpool University Press in publishing English Archives: An Historical Survey by Richard Olney.
We will be hosting an informal launch event at 6pm on Monday, 10 July at The Gallery, 77 Cowcross Street, London, EC1M 6EJ.

‘English Archives: An Historical Survey is the first book to treat the history of English records creation and record-keeping from the perspective of the archives themselves. Drawing on the author’s extensive knowledge and experience as both archivist and historian, it presents the subject in a very readable and lively way. The BRA’s collaboration with LUP has enabled an affordable paperback edition to be produced.
