Discovering Collections, Discovering Communities Conference

Date / time: 28 June - 2 July, All day

Discovering Collections, Discovering Communities Conference

Registration is open for the Discovering Collections, Discovering Communities Conference, #DCDC21, held virtually from 28 June – 2 July in partnership with Research Libraries UK and Jisc. Be sure to take advantage of the early bird rate, available until the 31 May.

Enjoy a flexible programme of workshops and talks, where speakers from across the GLAMA sector will discuss the timely topic ‘Crisis as a catalyst for change’.

An outstanding line up of keynote speakers will join us this year, including Olivette Otele of the University of Bristol, John Orna-Ornstein of the National Trust and many more. Early career researchers and professionals are encouraged to attend and the programme also includes a special strand for them, including a mini History Day run by the Institute of Historical Research, a ‘Meet the Influencers’ event, and plenty of networking opportunities.

We’ve also extended our bursaries deadline to 1 June. There are 60 bursaries available this year to cover either registration or expenses for those in need. The details are outlined on the DCDC website under bursaries.

For more information and to take advantage of the early bird rate before the 31 May, see the DCDC21 website.
