We are delighted to be hosting Ellen Nye and Gregory Smaldone for a seminar on “Credit, Risk and Uncertainty”.
Ellen Nye (Yale): Cartographies of Credit: Risk and Obligation between the Ottoman and English Empire, 1670-1720
Gregory Smaldone (Johns Hopkins): The Abricots Atelier: Rival Geographies and the Credit of Absolutism
