Fellows of the RHS are now invited to take part in the annual elections to the RHS Council.
The election is for three new members to join the RHS Council. Newly elected councillors will replace three current members who are stepping down on completion of their terms. New councillors will serve for four years from January 2022.
The three Councillors standing down are Dr Oleg Benesch, Professor Clare Griffiths and Professor Paul Readman. We are very grateful to them all for their support for, and considerable contribution to, the Society over the past four years.
Fellows of the RHS have now been sent an email inviting them to participate in the Council elections, and how to access the ballot.
- Voting in the election opened on: Thursday 5 August 2021
- Voting in the election will close on: 23:59 BST, Friday 10 September 2021
Please contact email@example.com if you are a Fellow of the RHS and have not received an email inviting you to vote in the election. Emails were sent on Thursday 5th August 2021 at 14:00 BST. Your email may have gone to a spam folder so please check there first.
Thank you to RHS Fellows for your participation in the 2021 RHS Council Election.
Vacancies for Two Officer Roles on the RHS Council
On 5 August we also launched a call for two Officer roles for the Council: the Honorary Secretary (taking over from Dr Alana Harris who steps down after three years’ immensely valuable service), and a new post of Secretary for Professional Engagement.
Successful applicants to both posts must be Fellows of the Society.
The deadline for applications is Friday 24 September 2021 and further details of both posts are available.
