Inner Temple History Society Play: The Misfortunes of Arthur

28 May 2019

Expect to encounter Arthurian legend, but not as you know it. ‘The Misfortunes of Arthur’ was originally created for the 1587 Gray’s Inn revels and last performed for Queen Elizabeth I at Greenwich Palace in 1588.

The candlelit performance in the church will feature members of the Inner Temple Drama Society performing excerpts from the play, interspersed with commentary by academics from KCL.

This is the first time it has been performed at an Inn for 432 years.

5.30pm for 6.00pm. Followed by a drinks reception in The Temple Church Round, London EC4Y 1AF

Tickets: £10.25
