Date / time
26 January, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
This one-day conference explores the politics of public history. It focusses in particular on the ethics, potential and practicalities of good collaborations with groups who might be in some way ‘marginalised’ from university spaces.
Sessions will explore care and risk; radical change; the position of the researcher; working with crisis; coproducing archives; and rethinking institutions.

The conference is organised by Karen Harvey (University of Birmingham), Laura King (University of Leeds), and Josie McLellan (University of Bristol). It is supported by the RHS and Past & Present.
