Friends of The Women's Library Talks Programme

 

We shall be welcoming one of the Friends, Annette Lawson O.B.E, to speak in our talks programme on Wednesday 27 October at 2.30 pm.

Annette, immediate Past Chair of the National Alliance of Women’s Organisations, has been attending the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women for over 20 years, and will take us through the history of the Commission, to discuss its successes and failures, and to help us think about what we should hope and demand for its future.
