Marine Corps History journal is accepting submissions of scholarly articles focused on new and unique research into the U.S. Marine Corps’ history, from its earliest actions to the Cold War and beyond, including cultural history; articles about other nations’ marine operations are also considered. Book reviews are being accepted, as well.
Articles should be 4,000 – 10,000 words long, properly footnoted, and formatted according to Chicago Manual of Style (17th edition). Junior faculty and advanced graduate students are encouraged to submit. All articles undergo double-blind peer review and revisions may be requested. The editors are currently accepting article and book review submissions for the Winter 2020 and Summer 2021 issues.

- Winter 2020 – 1 June 2020
- Summer 2021 – 1 January 2021
Marine Corps History is a peer-reviewed journal published twice each year by Marine Corps University Press at Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia.
