Working in Partnership: A History Lab+ Event

This History Lab+ event will explore various experiences of working in partnership through talks by professionals working within, in partnership with, and beyond the university. It will focus particularly on working in partnership to engage public audiences, but speakers will variously reflect on their career paths, their past and ongoing projects, and their approach to working effectively with a range of different parties. We hope to stimulate meaningful discussion on the value and importance of collaboration, as well as the potential for Early Career Historians and Independent Researchers (broadly defined) to develop their own approaches to working in partnership. All are invited to join us for this discussion.

Dr Kathy Davies: StreetLife Project, University of York; John Rylands Research Institute and Library, University of Manchester

Dr Sophie Vohra: National Railway Museum, Science Museum Group

Dr Victoria Hoyle: Institute for the Public Understanding of the Past, University of York
