Unearthing the South Asia Collections

The second of two free workshops looking inside the British Library’s South Asia collections.

India 75 Events is delighted to offer a platform for emerging and independent scholars to share their research. Join us to learn more about the British Library’s extensive South Asia collections.

On 5 October, our seminar speakers will be presenting on Central and South Asia’s colonial pasts, including British surveillance of the Afghan Durrani kingdom, interactions between the indigenous Bhil community and 19th-century courts, and the Indian Army’s contributions to the First World War.
