Date / time: 17 May, 2:30 pm - 4:00 pm

Location
LSE Library, Room 01

The Friends of The Women’s Library talks programme continues on Wednesday 17 May at 2.30 pm. Dr Carmen Mangion of Birkbeck will speak on ‘Faith, feminism and politics: The inter-war campaigning strategies of St Joan’s Social and Political Alliance’. Her research on the post-World War I activism of Catholic suffragists takes up an important theme in TWL’s collections – What Suffragists Did Next – and enables us to revisit the theme of some of our earlier presentations on connections between feminism, suffragism and religion.

This hybrid meeting takes place in Room 01 in LSE Library – you can join us there in person from 2.00 pm, and please let us know in advance by mailing susan.pares38@gmail.com by 16 May. This is to help with catering and to meet LSE Library’s request to notify them of numbers.
