Fifteenth Century Conference 2020 - deadline 31 May 2020

The Centre for Medieval Studies, University of Bristol, is hosting this annual conference from 3rd to 5th September 2020. We hope it will be an in-person event, with the option of some online delivery. Our plenary speakers are Peter Crooks (TCD) and Helen Swift (Oxford). The theme of the conference (which was decided before the pandemic) is ‘Disruption’, now a highly topical concept, as it was in the fifteenth century.

We welcome abstracts from any discipline that explore aspects of ‘disruption’ or any other topic relevant to fifteenth-century studies. Postgraduates and early career researchers are welcome to submit abstracts and may apply for travel bursaries.

The deadline for abstracts is 31 May 2020.
