Children and Youth on the Move

General registration is now open for ‘Children and Youth on the Move’, the second biennial conference of the Children’s History Society.

Held at Greenwich University’s spectacular Thameside campus in from 21-23 June, the event features over 125 papers, 2 keynotes (Prof. Bernard Capp and Dr Kristine Alexander) and associated activities.

From considerations of early modern rites of passage to thoughts on imperial rejuvenation in tropical Asia and on to twentieth-century hitchhiking, the conference programme showcases a full spectrum of topics ranging widely chronologically and geographically. We’ve kept attendance costs to a bare minimum, so too Society membership, and all the details can be found via the conference website.
