The New Room
The 2018 Annual Meeting will be held on 9-11 August 9-11 2018 at the New Room, Bristol.
The New Room was built by John Wesley in 1739, and is the oldest Methodist building in the world. It has recently been restored and developed.
The programme will include a keynote address by Dr. Martin Clarke, author of ‘British Methodist Hymnody: Theology, Heritage, and Experience‘ (Routledge, 2017), and visits to historic Wesley sites in Bristol, including Charles Wesley’s home.
