Australia and New Zealand Law and History Conference Adelaide 2015 (+ Blackstone and his Critics)

The 34th annual conference of the Australia and New Zealand Law and History Society will meet at the University of Adelaide from 10-12 December 2015. The conference theme is ‘Legal Reform and Innovation’. Confirmed speakers include Amalia Kessler (Stanford), David Lieberman (Berkeley), Michael Lobban (LSE), Kirsten McKenzie (Sydney), Wes Pue (UBC) and Philip Schofield (UCL).

Although a majority of ANZLHS conference papers focus on Australian and New Zealand legal history, we welcome contributions without regard to period or place covered. The conference will incorporate a third Adelaide Blackstone symposium on ‘Blackstone and his Critics’, and it is also anticipated that on Wednesday 9 December 2015 there will be a Workshop for Early Career Researchers and Higher Degree by Research students.

Persons interested in attending the ECR/HDR workshop should indicate this by email.

Any enquiries or questions should be addressed to ANZLHS2015@adelaide.edu.au
